SCROLL COMPRESSOR
The most expensive component of any condensing unit is the compressor. Rheem installs Copeland® Compliant Scroll® Compressors throughout its entire residential air conditioning line for proven reliability, efficiency, and sound reduction.
WRAPAROUND CABINET
Rheem air conditioning units are constructed with a powder-coat paint finish and galvanized steel cabinet to protect the condensing coil fins from yard hazards, extreme weather, and corrosion.
BASE PAN
The entire Rheem air conditioning line uses a sturdy, one-piece drawn and painted base pan. This pan elevates the coil off the pad, helping minimize corrosion while reducing sound and vibration.
OUTDOOR COIL
Rheem air conditioning units use an innovative wraparound outdoor coil constructed of copper tubing and aluminum fins. This design allows improved airflow transfer and helps reduce energy consumption.
EASY-ACCESS PANEL
Servicing your Rheem air conditioning unit is easy thanks to the single "easy access" panel. A service technician can easily remove this panel for access to the compressor and control box.

The Amana® brand ASC13 13 SEER Air Conditioner features operating sound levels that are among the best in the heating and cooling industry. With its 13 SEER rating — and up to 14 SEER with properly matched Amana® brand components — the ASC13 will help reduce energy consumption throughout the life of the system. Other features include an energy-efficient compressor with overload protection and a sound blanket for extra-quiet operation.

The Amana® brand ULTRON® RSG 16 SEER Air Conditioner uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A and features energy efficiencies and operating levels that are among the best in the heating and cooling industry. R-410A is chlorine-free to help prevent damage to the ozone layer. The RSG features a new technology—the 2-stage, high-efficiency Copeland scroll compressor—that better matches the cooling requirements of the conditioned space, providing improved temperature and humidity control.
