Napoleon Wood Stove Model 1400

FEATURES:

  • EPA approved to Phase 2 of the 1990 test Standards and below Washington's DEQ Phase 3 with emissions as low as 2.8 grams per hour.
  • Economical 6" flue on even the largest models, assures you of efficiency and cost saving installations
  • Secondary air tube insulated with ceramic fibre and protected with a stainless steel cover plate ensures complete combustion
  • Upper row bricks are being replaced with ceramic PHAZER® baffles. The advantage of light weight ceramic is three fold:
    1. Ease of installation. Two pieces instead of as many as 18 individual bricks.
    2. Lighter, easier to handle.
    3. The thermal dynamics of ceramic fibre allows for quicker startup due to the fact that heat is not absorbed into the traditional brick, but reflected back into the firebox, creating a hotter and cleaner burn.
  • Ash dump with self-closing door is readily accessible (pedestal models only)
  • Cool room air is circulated around the firebox, heated and returned to the room. An optional blower increases circulation
  • Non-catalytic high tech design eliminates the need for a delicate ceramic catalytic combustor which can deteriorate over time.
  • Thermostatic heat sensors are now available for EPA stoves, automatically turning the blower on and off as the unit is heated and cooled.
